Hi, I am confused as to how to name a net in eeschema. Is it linked to the name of the pin on the component being used?
Also in the FAQ it mentions the cross probing. This does not seem to do anything for me when I click on to the pin in the eeschema. I have just recived back my first board from pcb-train in the UK which I did on the KiCAD and it has worked well and I had no problem with the gerbers etc. I am using the 5 Jan 06 version on win 2K. Feature request would be for easier net naming and maybe a wire link layer (as used in easyPC) for the simple addition of wire links. Quite impressed with the software and the more I use it the more I am liking it. cheers dave-o Please read the Kicad FAQ in the group files section before posting your question.
