I'm looking for a laser printer which could give me a good quality for
PCB direct printing with kicad
Should it be a postscript model ?.
Are there some models or some constructors to prefer or on the
contrary to avoid ?
Hi,
I think that a poscript model can be a little best, because you can use it on Linux as well on Windows. Kicad permit to output the post process directly on poscript format so you avoid multiple conversions. But the quality will depend more of the technology of the printer (paper transport) than the language interpreter.
An other remark, do you think is today still economic to make the prints by self? there is on the net some manufacturer which do good prototype (until 6 layers) for unbeatable prices. (less than € 100 for two 100 * 160mm 2 layers prints).
Best regards
