Dear all, I placed a DB9 male connector on my board. When routing traces I intended to short circuit the mounting holes of the connector to ground. However the electrical rule of pcbnew does not allow to do so as a no-conn symbol is set to the two pads. I tried to edit the net name of pads to "GND" (as other ground pins in circuit) but this is not working, and re-reading the netlist reverts the (manually) edited properties.
In eeschema there is also no way to define short of DB9 mounting holes to ground. Anyone have ideas please kindly advise. Many thanks, Patrick
