hi I'm pretty new to eda software. While handling is still a little uncommon, I found kicad very useable and capable.
some questions: in cvpcb, the auto-assign function is very helpfull, but it is selecting smd components, while I'd prefere to use tht-style (dip/pin) components/technology first. How can I make it use THT components only? Can SMD and THT components be mixed ? in the schematic (in eeschematic), I'm using TWO symols for TL072: gatter A and gatter B but those are both integrated in one IC (it has two OPs). How do I tell newpcb to use one IC for both symbols? The cvpcb doesn't find a footprint for TL072. What to select, where to get it? If I wanted to use sockets/bases below the (dip-)ICs, how/where would I specify it? (making them to appeare in the bill too) thanks for your input
