I updated PCBnew from version 2007-11-29-c to version 20080715. I've now done some minor tweaks to a design done in the older version, and I've noticed what seems to be a significant change in the way the oblong-shaped (routed) component holes appear in the drill file. I'm worried about this as I'm just about to place an order for 100 pcbs, and I don't want them to all be wrong!
The relevant bits of the 2007-11-29-c version drill file looked like this: T1C0.800 T3C1.199 T1 X191.389Y-83.439G85X194.437Y-83.439 G05 X196.215Y-89.789G85X196.215Y-86.741 G05 T3 X189.992Y-89.952G85X189.992Y-86.578 G05 and the 20080715 drill file looks like this: T1C0.800 T5C3.851 T7C4.572 T1 X191.389Y-83.439G85X194.437Y-83.439 G05 T5 X196.215Y-89.789G85X196.215Y-86.741 G05 T7 X189.992Y-89.952G85X189.992Y-86.578 G05 so as far as I can see, the lines containing the routed hole information are the same (the holes haven't moved), but the drill size has changed substantially.
