I am running on Ubuntu Gutsy and it works fine for me. I have not seen your problem, but it sounds like a Java installation problem or a Java security problem. Maybe Alfons at the freerouting support forum can help you. I'm guessing but I think you need at least 1 gig of RAM for the freerouting program. I usually start it with: $ javaws freerouter.jnlp at the command prompt. That's all I can offer, Dick
