Also in KiCad, you can draw a long wire along connections of components. There's no need to use shorter wires. But the connections will not be automatically "joint" together with the wires. Unlike Protel, in KiCad you have to add the junction yourself. See the right symbol toolbar in EeSchema, 12th symbol in the toolbar (tooltip = "Place the junction").. Best rgds, --Geert
