Greetings - I just stumbled over KiCad today, built it, installed it and went through the tutorial. Overall a very, very nice piece of work.
Something that drives me nuts though is the block/object selection methodology. Having to draw a rectangle as the only selection technique is very cumbersome. In addition to area/box selects, most CAD tools I've encountered allow the selection of an object with a left mouse click and the ability to add to the selection with shift-left mouse click. One can then drag the selection by holding the left mouse button down, dragging to the destination and placing it with the release of the mouse button. Is there anyway to enable this sort of usage model or would it require recoding?
