I'm working on my first project with kicad, and so far liking it
(although I've had to create a lot of modules by hand since, and I've
been sort of annoyed by a few things).

I submitted my gerbers to batchpcb and studied the pictures they
supply once the board has passed their tests. I managed to spot a
problem where the module POWER-IN-JACK-PMS has pins that are
completely covered up by the soldermask on the copper layer.

I'm not sure what library that POWER-IN-JACK-PMS is from, but I THINK
it's from one of the libraries that are bundled with Kicad.

A library I downloaded contained "JACK_ALIM", which appears to also be
a 2.5mm power connector, but has oval shaped holes.. and I'm not
trusting that PCB places can actually drill those (or am I wrong?)

Anyways yeah.. just wanted to point out that POWER-IN-JACK-PMS doesn't
have it's pads on the copper side soldermask.
