For a PCB design, we are trying to have a "block" on the silkscreen layer - we are trying to use the zones (like we would for a copper fill). When we print to the printer, the block is printed. However, when we plot the Gerber file, the silkscreen zone is not present (the text etc is visible). Can we use zones on the silkscreen layers? Is there another method of specifying a zone on the silkscreen layers? thanks
