There is only one LED in eeschema and only one LED(LEDV), in CVpcb and yet they don't match, no wires in Pcbnew, however the pins seem to match as far as i can tell.
As for the LM7805, none of the LM78xx or LM79xx footprints match,again no wires in pcbnew, i noticed the LM78xx footprints have a 4th pad for bending the LM7805 and attaching it to the board, but the schematic does not. Hopefully i can just delete the 4th pad and create my own mod file, fingers crossed. I've doubled checked my schematic, have no error's in erc. I like KICAD I think it's the best open source PCB design software, way better than eagle, but this thing with the footprints is really frustrating, it needs to be addressed in future releases. As suggested I've check the PDF files for footprint docs, which are helpful, but when there is only one footprint (LEDV) for a schematic symbol it should match. Unless of course I'm a complete idiot. Any help with the LM78xx and LED would be greatly appreciated.
