Currently I'm trying to use the nightly Win32 builds posted here: http://kicad.1301.cz/ I primarily want to do this test because Topo-R is a Win32 program. My Kicad Win32 20090216 release version works OK, but when I drop in the new .exe files from my downloaded TAR balls, I get errors related to the wxwidgets DLL files. Seems I don't have all of the DLLs I need. One of them is wxbase28u_net_... which I know I don't have in the bin folder. I'd try it on Linux, but I can't understand if the folder structures have changed since 2007 (which seems to be the only version of KiCAD that's been put in "stable" for Fedora or Ubuntu.) Where would I extract the Linux archive if I was going to do that approach? /usr/bin, or /usr/local/ or /usr/share/... ugh!
