Sure, I know how to find out the relative coordinates, but I don't see how I can use them directly when moving or editing an element?
Say I've got a resistor placed somewhere. I measure the physical box where the pcb should reside and happen to find there is a screw mount right there, and using a caliper I find that the resistor would be perfect if moved 32 x 16mm from the PCB lower left corner? As far as I know I will have to take the position of the PCB's lower left corner in relation to the page origin and subtract y=16mm and add 32mm to get the new position.. Instead of all calculations it would be useful if one could just choose check a box somewhere to use the origin set by "Offset adjust for drill and place files." for future positioning, when directly entering positions, instead of the page origin. regards Andreas --- In [email protected], Robert <birmingham_spi...@...> wrote: > Yes - move the cursor to where you want the origin and press the space > bar.
