The docs should be in the main distro and should be installed in /usr/local/kicad/docs
(You may have problems with your reader... I recall one distro install I useddid not set up the pdf reader as expected. Have a peek in your home folder for .kicad_common and see what reader it is expecting to find.) If they are not there you can get the main binary package here, and extract the doc directory http://iut-tice.ujf-grenoble.fr/cao/ Or from sourceforge where the docs are split out. http://sourceforge.net/projects/kicad/files/ Andy On Fri, 16 Oct 2009 21:29:41 -0000 "owen.grantham" <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, I'm new to Kicad and though I've seen a referance to documentation in > openoffice format, but can't find it.
