I downloaded TTconv but it does not come with any instructions and I don't
know how to use it.

Have a look at TTConv in the group files.

The one dated feb 8th looks to be the latest.

One of it's functions is to import images, which may be what you want.

If I remember correctly is intended to import things like logos rather
than images as such.
