While doing layout work, I have 2 monitors of 28" each that are 1920 x 1280. I just use the zoon feature to make the area as large as I want. Having the 2nd monitor is very nice for having up the schematic, cmponent documentation, catalogs, stock component lists, etc. If you do a lot of this kind of work, I highly recommend the largest monitor you can afford and then use 2 (or more) of them with the appropriate graphics cards. Your eyes will thank you and you will be more productive as well. Monitors these days are cheap.

This will make everything look small.
