Just a note on all this religion stuff, you guys are so mature about it all!
I've been on lists previously where religion has gotten discussed, and people
have gotten so offended, even when things weren't meant to be offensive, and
they get so huffy about it all. You guys are wonderful! I am very impressed.
And Scot- where did you get all that information on the origins etc. of the
Biblical texts? That was really cool. Unfortunately, my teachers wouldn't be
impressed with you as a being one of my cited sources, so if you had some
books??
Anyway, keep on discussing this! I find it really interesting.
