Actually, if you're thinking of using it as a geek's toy, pangit na siya. Yes, it doesn't have a CD/DVD drive, RJ45 port, RJ11 port, PCMCIA slot, only one (1) USB 2.0 port and lastly, it uses a non-standard laptop HDD - 1.8' 4200 RPM. You can find a comparison between the Asus eeePC and MacBook Air at: http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2008/01/16/eee_vs_air/ But if you're going to use it for a real mobile use, you don't need those devices/ports/slots mentioned above. Besides, the Mac OS X Leopard is cool and just fit to work for your everyday use. I personally like the MacBook Air over the Asus eeePC. Besides, I just need an SSH client to connect to my servers. =) YMMV. =) Marvin _________________________________________________ Kagay-Anon Linux Users' Group (KLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (http://cdo.linux.org.ph) Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
