I am a GNU/Linux user and I don't have any plans to buy either the MacBook Air or the Asus eeePC simply because I cannot do my work while I'm out. I'm not saying I'm a hardcore geek. I just need a "swiss army" laptop. But choosing between the two, I prefer the MacBook Air. Three (3) main reasons why I don't like the Asus eeePC and these are: [1] The keyboard sucks. My fingers doesn't fit on the keyboard. I'm used to position my thumbs to the space bar and the rest of my eight (8) fingers are from A to ; keys (except G and H). [2] It doesn't have a HDD. [3] The display is too small for me. YMMV. =) Marvin _________________________________________________ Kagay-Anon Linux Users' Group (KLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (http://cdo.linux.org.ph) Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
