Yeah, smartbro sucks in some areas, I inquired about globelines wireless broadband but was told that it was initially available only in metro manila, I wanted to switch’s my gf’s connection back at bukidnon to globe as her parents’ are having a nightmare with smartbro.
Do yourself a favor, get a 3G capable celfone, plug in a globe or smart SIM, if you get 3G reception from either provider, you have the option to get Globe’s Visibility (has a 5GB monthly download limit) for 2k (postpaid plan only) a month or PLDT’s WeRoam (unlimited downloads) for under 2k (you get a 3G modem for postpaid and an old GPRS/EDGE modem for prepaid). I myself am crossing my fingers when I go home to malaybalay 2 weeks from now, I’ll be working from home for a week and I hope I could get a stable (at least) EDGE reception. ________________________________ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Grace Naces Sent: Thursday, January 24, 2008 7:12 PM To: Kagay-Anon Linux Users' Group (KLUG) Mailing List Subject: Re: [klug] OT: ISP for commercial Honey, I'm on smartbro and I'm ready to sh*t bricks (pardon my french) because the connection is not good--and I just renewed because I have no choice.
