so when you do just
  ifconfig<ENTER>

what do you see? can you paste it here?  feel free to fake the actual
public IP addresses (else, someone might try to DDos you, or look
around).  but change the IPs consistently.  i.e., if two interfaces have
the same IP, then when you fake one, fake the other to be the same
fake address.

it's been a *long* time since i setup pppoe in CDO and i've forgotten what
the setup is like.  a look at your ifconfig output (just copy from terminal
and paste here) will help a lot.
