forums, hmmmm. although its good because it has RSS but that would mean that we will have to stop using mailing list and move to forums. i dont believe we could maintain two sets of websites to update. its either forums or lists.
if you are trying to build an informational site then i suggest we make a blog. well just make an about us page on the sidebar together with a link to the list subscription. if possible make everyone a contributor so everyone can post, brent or anybody we vote might become an editor to check of topic consistency and other jobs to maintain the blog. i personally think blogs are much better compared to the forums. it does not conflict with the list and any group update will be posted and easily seen on the main page. another option is the wiki.
