there is a nice function on windows itself call processor affinity which is design to deal with this kind of problem. i have used this on my 600 pcs dvd decrypting and ripping and In order to accommodate a lot in one hit i have to make sure that my core 2 quad processors is running at all cores.
well I've finish only 569 dvds in one month since i have to work on it at night only (part-time lang ni). i recieve sweet 27kphp for that hahaha. cheers. 2008/11/6 Earl Lapus <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > On Thu, Nov 6, 2008 at 11:00 AM, Ron Michael Khu <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > wrote: > > pero diba naa uban apps na dili modagan tarung sa 64-bit? > > labi na ang mga browser plugins? > > > > kay sa unsa naa man mi mga applications na wala gi optimize > > for dual processors(possible unsafe tingali ang pagprogram anto nila), > > gakabuang basta ipadagan sa 64-bit na environment. > > > > > > yep daghan apps ana... most probably daghan sila "assumptions" pag code > nila ;) > > dapat pud i note nga dili automatic nga 64 bit ang dual processor. naa > dual processor nga 32 bit lang... so smp issues/problems is not the > same as 64-bit related issues/problems... heheheehehe... kanang > "issues" ma tabang ra na thru therapy > > -- > There are seven words in this sentence. > _________________________________________________ > Kagay-Anon Linux Users' Group (KLUG) Mailing List > [email protected] (http://lists.linux.org.ph/mailman/listinfo/klug) > Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph > -- Rasid Sanusi CompE, MCSE Security Registered Linux User #480652 Senior IT System Administrator Boartes Capability Development Doha Qatar
