To: hard wyrd,

Im assuming your time was even before XUCC Net under Sir Jay started the
1peso/per hour internet use...

Ambot ngano sa mga internet cafe nag sugod ang wide spread of the internet
instead sa academic
institutions :D

Especially na semi-ISP provider man unta ni ang XU na naay line sa MOZCOM :D

To mungkey:
OO nice unta ang change... Anyway, gusto baya unta ko mag apply as teacher sa
XU mga 5 years ago, but I think
non-conformant rapud kaayo ko para mahimong effective teacher in an environment
like XU.
Although as a faciliator in NEC, daghan pud naka appreciate sa akong work,
especially katong
mga former students na nahimong supervising people sa NEC training... but many
of the older ones
would always think of me as deviant.

To: Marvin Pascual
Sakto sila hard wyrd ug ridvan.... Tell your freshman
friend/relative/acquiantance to fully utilize the web.
He doesnt have to buy books, there are lots of free stuff and daghan ebooks..
although some
of them most likely violate some intellectual property of some enterprising
writer or publishing company :D

For sockets, he can use the same reference mungkey recommended me...
"Beej's guide to network programming". BSD sockets ni cya na reference.

And sa college, nabuhi ra pud ko sa generosity of kind classmates to lend me
their books...
usually ang mga tao at that time, ang ginaharan is mga photocopies of MS
powerpoint slides.
