Job title : Software Test Engineer Location : Alpharetta, GA Contract Length : 12 Months Descriptions: The Testing Engineer is a member of the testing team with responsibilities for segments of the planning, design, and execution of tests (i.e., user acceptance testing, system, subsystem or interface testing). You will assist in the design, analysis and implementation of testing solutions; participate in client meetings; ensure that engagement work products and deliverables are of the highest quality to ensure client satisfaction; present conclusions and recommendations; and keep team members informed of project status. Responsibilities: Work with client and teams to deliver testing solutions. Deliver timely and quality services, ensuring client satisfaction. Be part of a team of several testing engineers, participate and contribute in internal design review of testing materials; checking the test environment; executing, tracking and reporting on the test execution; analyzing the results and communicating status with the client. Requirements: Skills/attributes required to be qualified for the role. o Past experience as Testing Engineer is a must . Experience with Data Warehouse applications . Experience setting up development/testing environments for Data Warehouse applications . Working knowledge of ORACLE (experience using TOAD) . Experience working with TERADATA database o Experience working with INFORMATICA o Knowledge of at least one Amdocs product (Ensemble, OMS, Enabler AMSS, TLG, or Clarify CRM, Invoicing) advantage o 2-3 years UNIX experience required Experience with DB (Oracle, SQL Server); data modeling principles and associated tools (SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD); test automation and performance tools (WinRunner, LoadRunner, Precise); configuration control knowledge (Source Safe principles); S/W architecture for web based and non-web based applications (Client side, Tuxedo and Server side), knowledge of automated tools etc. 2-3 years demonstrated expertise in the successful delivery of testing solutions for Telecom Billing and/or CRM solutions -advantage Strong analytical skills.
