Thanks, Bank of America Capacity Planner 40/hr (4 openings) Look for BMC Performance Assurance Tools ? uses his/her expertise to make proactive capacity planning decisions to mitigate the risks and rationalize the optimal amount of hardware, software and network resources to meet our LOBS service level requirements in a timely and cost effective manner. ? is also responsible for developing, maintaining, recommending, documenting, and supporting tools and backend utilities used by the team to do capacity planning and performance management. ? interfaces with other systems management and engineering organizations, applications, vendor, and technical staff in support of business requirements and service level objectives. ? provides assessment, documentation, prioritization and execution of existing and required tools, the methodologies and task plans to meet the LOB?s capacity planning requirements. ? acts to resolve system performance problems and develops trend analyses to predict capacity requirements. Requirements: 3-5 years advanced administration ? UNIX platform experience - 1 to 3 years capacity planning experience in UNIX, LINUX, and Windows platforms - Expertise utilizing UNIX OS line commands for performance analysis - Experience with industry standard capacity/modeling tools - Executive Presentation - Excellent verbal, written communication skills and organizational skills - Self-motivated, works well in a team environment or independently.
