Job Title : Citrix Adminitrator Location : Thousand Oaks, CA Duration : 6+ Month Contract Rate : OPEN Job Description : Specialist Citrix Adminitrator to support Amgen's Infrastructure Operations and Project work. The consultant will support a large enterprise environment with specific skills in Citrix Server Administration. The consultant will support the ISI Demand Manager to meet the deliverables. They will report to the vendor Team Lead who is responsible for tracking and conveying reporting requirements to vendor. The consultant will be required to provide day-to-day operational support for Citrix administration, including on-call duties and to provide project support as needed. Required Skills: Candidates should be familiar with DHCP, DNS, WINS, TCP/IP networking in a LAN & WAN environment, LDAP, NAS & SAN storage, scripting, anti-virus sofware. Additional requirements include knowledge of Opsware and/or Tivoli for automated patching and provisioning and as well as Citrix virtual desktop offerings. Must be able to work autonomously and have the ability to provide advice (including performance tuning suggestions) to internal clients such as DBAs, J2EE WebLogic Admins, Storage Admins, B/U Admins, as well as Application Support Admins. Required Experience/Education: Extensive experience required (5 years or more)with specific skillys in Citrix Server Administration. 5+ years experience in Citrix Platforms/versions, (Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server 4.0, Citrix MetaFrame XP Server, Citrix Secure Access Manager, NFuse, XenApp, XenDesktop) in large enterprises. Preferred Skills: Troubleshooting skills and the ability to interface effectively with application owners.
