*Position: Sr** System Engineer** * *Location: Dallas TX* *Phone and in person interview.* *Rate: $5**0**/hr on 1099( all inclusive)**.* *Job Description* - Collaborate to provide Web Service Engineering support functional and performance testing efforts. - Tune, test, configure, deploy, patch and maintain Apache HTTP Server and Tomcat environments. - Apply a broad understanding of system environments and utilities in analyzing, developing, testing, debugging and implementing modifications to existing systems. - Identify and analyze system and application problems. Determine solutions; develop, test and implement fixes. - Create and / or maintain system documentation. - Respond to customer support calls as needed and participate on-call pager rotation and off hours activities. - Interacts with resources in other teams and enterprise programs to obtain necessary foundation and code-base information - Troubleshoot issues with custom code base and third party hosting providers *Skills * *Required Technical Skills*** - Apache HTTP Server 2.2 and Tomcat 5.x / 6.x administration, configuration, tuning and automation. - Experience configuring Apache HTTP Server mods including mod_proxy_balancer and mod_rewrite. - Proficient with UNIX shells and scripting and tools such as JACL, Jython, Ruby and Hyperic. - Experience working with SSL and certificates. - Working knowledge of Unix and networks. - Experience with Web Services in a SOA environment. - Knowledge of software best practices like test driven development (TDD) and continuous integration - Working knowledge of ESBs, especially Mule a plus. - Working knowledge of any of WebSphere, Corba, JBoss and WebLogic a plus. - Proficient with techniques to properly recognize, avoid and test for the OWASP Top Ten security flaws. *Required Non-Technical Skills* - Demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities and multi tasking capabilities - Demonstrated troubleshooting and analytical ability including analysis of log files and java dumps. - Mature interpersonal skills and proven capability to handle multiple situations simultaneously - Proven written and verbal communication and presentation skills - Detailed, highly organized and time efficient - Demonstrated ability to complete tasks in a quick paced, fluid environment. -- *Warm Regards Ravi InfowareTech Inc Phone: 972-325-1264*1862 Fax: 214-350-4142 Email: [email protected] www.infowaretech.com HUB | MBE | WBENC Certified.* Please reply with “REMOVE” in the subject line if you do not wish to get emails from us in the future.
