Response Time: Immediate Requirement: Title: Sr.Datastage Developer (GCs Or US Citz only) Position: 2 Duration: 5 Weeks Location: Chicago, IL Interview: Immediate Description: - Design and Develops IBM DataStage v8.0 interfaces using DataStage Enterprise stages and DataStage Web Services - Designs and develops the PL/SQL code in support of defined requirements and specifications - Designs and develops the XML schemas/XSD definitions in support of defined requirements and specifications - Designs and develops the Java code in support of defined requirements and specifications - Responsible for unit testing of code developed - Ensures all deliverables and milestones are met - Works closely with all team members to make sure they fully understand the requirements, deliverables and milestones - Provides frequent status updates to IT Lead/Project Manager - Follows Baxter?s standards, policies and procedures - Ensure knowledge transfer occurs during the project life-cycle - Responsible for the design and maintenance of all forms and documents required for Baxter applications (technical design documents, change control forms, scheduling forms). Additional Job Info: 7 or more years professional experience 5+ years of extensive DataStage, PL/SQL, Oracle 10g/11g, XMLDB and XML/XSD technologies. 3+ years of J2EE experience, This should include deep DataStage development using IBM tools, additionally Oracle tools, scripts, database links, XML tools, and Rational Application Developer (RAD) for Java. IBM DataStage technologies will be heavily used with industry standard frameworks Extensive experience in AS400 a plus and other data transfer mechanisms Technical layout: Architecture includes developing interfaces between internal systems and outside ASP vendor's systems using IBM DataStage middleware, Oracle tools and Java.
