MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE: (List the day to day duties
of this role and additional responsibilities)
Overall Responsibilities:
Perform Business Application Support analyst duties for CTS suite of
applications. Overall responsibilities include:
• Serve as initial point of contact for questions and problems
on CTS applications
• Log all incidents received via phone and emails in Remedy/ITSM
• Accurately categorize and prioritize issues
• Ensure service levels for issue escalation and resolution are met
Functional Responsibilities:
• Log all work performed and resolution details in Remedy/ITSM
• Provide timely updates on the status of non-closed issues to
the affected parties.
• Communicate issue resolution details and root cause
information to affected parties upon closure of issue making sure to
use verbiage appropriate for the intended audience.
• Add issue detail and resolution info to the CTS knowledge base
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS (List all the skills that the candidate
must have in order to be considered for this job.)
• Previous support experience
• SQL and database knowledge
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the
ability to communicate with technical and non-technical parties, and
provide the business and management with concise updates regarding
issues
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations and flexibility
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Organized and good time management
• Analytical and systematic problem solving skills
• Visual Basic
• Ability to prioritize efficiently
• Good time management skill
• Ability to multi-task
DESIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS (List all the skills that would be “a plus”
for the applicant to have)
• ITIL knowledge
• Demonstrate ability to document and deliver on project related work
• UNIX
• XML
• Understanding of batch schedulers (e.g. Control M)
• Understanding of excel pivot tables and excel report building
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND (List industry background the
candidate must have in order to be considered.)
• Minimum of 3 years IT experience
• Experience working in a support environment
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: (List of Degrees and certifications that the
applicant will need if any.)
• Collegiate degree (BA/BS or above) preferred
