Job Description
. Must have extensive knowledge in Oracle database programming skills with
Oracle PL/SQL and Sqlldr
. Must have extensive knowledge in advanced Oracle PL/SQL to maintain
existing processes and create new ETL processes.
. Must have extensive Oracle knowledge for performance tuning.
. Must have extensive technical skills in Unix and Linux environment
. Strong knowledge of UNIX/LINUX shell scripting
. Experience with Data Warehouse implementations and ETL skills
. Autosys Job Scheduler
. Sync Sort for UNIX/LINUX
. Micro Focus Cobol
. IBM Mainframe JCL/COBOL
. Follow Change Control concepts and policies
. Ability to work with offsite Vendor Technical Support for problem
resolution
. Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally
and in writing
. Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with
varying degrees of technical expertise
. A plus but not required include IBM Replication Server, Data Quality and
Data Stage.
