*Position: Sr. Software Engineer* *Location; San Jose, California* *Duration: 4-6 months* *Senior Software Engineer* Position Summary: Designs, develops, and maintains embedded application & infrastructure software for Ericsson ECN212f product. Contribute to architecture and implementation decisions for new product development. Participate complete development lifecycle, including requirements, design, coding, unit testing, system integration, documentation, and customer support. *Essential Skills and Experience:* Ø Minimum of 5 years experience in developing embedded software for carrier class systems Ø Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering required Ø Strong embedded C programming experience. Ø Development experience in Linux / UNIX applications programming. Ø Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ø Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ø Self-motivation and the ability to work effectively in teams * * *Hands on development experience in some of the following areas: * Ø Strong Development background in Linux applications programming and socket programming.
