Duties DataStage Engineer/Manager: Implements and administers IBM's DataStage and Information Server suite of products on AIX, Solaris or Linux operating systems. The successful candidate must have demonstrated hands-on experience with: . product installation and maintenance . setting up and administering environments . troubleshooting and problem diagnosis . performance tuning and capacity planning . documenting operational processes and mentoring Skills .. Demonstrated administration, installation, and support experience with DataStage (Information Server) in an AIX, Solaris, or Linux operating system environment. . Must be proficient in UNIX scripting . Solid knowledge and experience with database standard concepts, practices and procedures . . Excellent verbal and written skills . Strong problem solving capability . Superior documentation skills . Strong ability to work across organizational boundaries . Passion for troubleshooting and resolving customer/product issues . Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously .
