Job Posting Title: Systems Engineer (5-7 Years) - Dallas Duration: 6 months No. of positions: 2 Dallas, Texas Telephone screen would be followed by a face to face. SUMMARY: Responsible for all aspects of Microsoft stack based Infrastructure services. This includes research, design, test, and deploy technologies being implemented by the desktop organization. Majority of the focus will be on Microsoft technologies utilizing new products (Server 2008, GPO, System Center products, and HP hardware) to streamline the desktop infrastructure. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Research, design, deploy, and test Windows 2008 R2 Operating System. Research, design, deploy, and test Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2. Research, design, deploy, and test HP tools integration with SCOM. Research, design, deploy, and test HP tools (HP Insight Control & HP Insight Dynamics). Research, design, deploy, and test Windows 2008 R2 File Services & DFS. Design, implement, and support server virtualization using Hyper-V. Design network printing, directory structures, rights, security, and software on file servers. Windows Systems Administration Windows 2003/2008 Server Clustering Software Directory Servers DNS HP Blades IP Networking LAN Microsoft Visio SCOM 2007 System architecture Knowledge of VDI is a Plus. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. 8 to 10 years of experience in the field as a Systems Engineer. An MCSE certification is a plus. SPECIALIZED SKILLS: Design and Implementation experience with Windows 2008 R2 Operating System. Design and Implementation experience with Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2. Experience with integrating HP tools with System Center. Design and Implementation experience with HP tools (Insight Control & Insight Dynamics). Design and Implementation experience with Windows 2008 R2 File Services and DFS. Knowledge of HP Blade Servers.
