Job Title: Lead Automation Engineer Location: AZ Duration: Long Term Rate: Open POSITION PURPOSE: Lead development and enhancement of test automation framework and architecture. Provide leadership of complex test automation projects by developing the strategy and approach and ensuring actual test automation development, execution and maintenance. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Provide advanced expertise in designing, coding, and enhancing test automation and/or performance suites · Lead estimation process and status reporting for complex projects · Design and develop complex programs, utilities, and tools to assist in the testing process · Coordinate and/or provide education and resources for system, automation, and performance testing · Educate and mentor testing team, as well as project team members, in testing and application testing tool usage and mastery · Direct assigned tool evaluation, assessment, training and implementation · Provide leadership in software configuration management for all phases of testing · In collaboration with QM team, create and design test strategies and approaches for complex applications development projects · Lead and implement performance testing · Continuously review industry standard techniques, strategies, and processes QUALIFICATIONS: · Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, MIS or related technical field or equivalent experience/training · At least 5 years experience of test automation of applications · At least 7 years of QA and/or application development experience · Advanced knowledge/experience applying automation techniques and tools (TFS or HP Mercury preferred) · Experience in adapting/building an automated testing framework based on re-usable components · Experience testing SOA and Web Services · Experience with hand held technologies (Win Mobile or J9) communicating over cellular technologies, performing data validations and simulations, IP spoofing from multiple mobile devices across a private APN · Experience or good knowledge of programming and scripting languages (Java J2EE, Java Script, Load Runner, QTP, SQL, XML) · Experienced user of Microsoft Office Tools · Advanced knowledge of performance test principles and tools · Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL7, Oracle) · Excellent prioritization, time management/multi-tasking skills · Flexibility and adaptable to changing environments · Airline experience preferred · Full SDL experience, Agile experience preferred · Excellent written and verbal communication skills Thanks & Regards, Vijay B Yasaram | E-mail Thoughtwave Software and Solutions, Inc. | Web URL Desk: 630-566-8710; Fax: 630-689-5746 G-Talk: Vijaybhasker321 If you would like to be removed, send a separate email to [email protected] Important Disclaimer Notice: The information contained in this communication is confidential, private, proprietary, or otherwise privileged and is intended only for the use of the addressee.
