Candidates must take an online Java test and must be available to do an in
person interview.
Fequirements:
Candidates should have Java and front office experience dealing with FX Will
consider junior to senior level candidates.
For senior candidates we are looking for the front office FX experience
Expertise in hands-on Java, J2EE and Java Swing development, ideally within
a UNIX / Sybase environment.
OO design expertise An appreciation of key business drivers and an
understanding of the IT impact upon the business.
An ability to utilise a variety of technologies and techniques to deliver
businesses solutions.
Strong desire for technical excellence Strong analytical and problem solving
abilities.
An ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills and be a "team player". An ability to work in a
fast-paced, pressurised, front-office trading environment.
Strong intellect and clear evidence of energy, commercial drive and flair.
Outstanding academic achievements, ideally you'll possess a relevant
university technology degree or post-graduate qualification.
A strong background / interest in mathematics Recent experience in Foreign
Exchange would be well regarded.
