* Grid Performance Engineering - performance testing, environment and
application
tuning.
* *Performance monitoring* (sampling, tracing, profiling, analysis)
* Experience in working with Performance Metrics for the evaluation of Grid
performance: Collection, Analysis of Time, Resource, System related metrics,
Workload Completion and Failure Metrics. Strong understanding of Metrics
- WC, ETC, WASTE, SFF, AWTD, AWRT, AWWT, AWSD.
* Strong work experience in GridICE, GridMon, GridRM
* Performance Stress test Grid extensions across various geographic
locations as a single resource pool
* Performance testing and tuning of VMWare and Data Synapse in a virtualized
environment versus bare metal. Evaluation of optimal sizing of virtual
machines. Experience in VMWare for Infrastructure virtualization
* Performance testing of grid. Performance testing of network.
Measurement/modeling of latency.
* Experience in DataSynapse managed environment.
* Good knowledge of GRENCHMARK
* Strong SUSE and Scripting skills.
* Strong understanding of Grid Architecture, Framework and Implementation.
* Strong implementation level understanding of Cloud Computing technology,
Private clouds, and Public clouds.
*Good to Have Skills:*
* Experience working with Mingle, Agile Story Cards
* Good working knowledge of JIRA.
* Agile development methodology, agile story card wbs.
* Mercury Monitor
* NWS
* Nagios
