*Senior-Level Java Developer* *4 month contract* *McLean, VA* JOB DESCRIPTION: Senior developer will provide Java development and design. Responsibilities include both front-end and back-end detailed design, development, and unit testing of all code developed. Additional responsibilities include documenting code developed and fixing bugs in the development of the various applications. Senior developer will lead specific development modules, perform detailed design and will supervise junior developers. EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience or 14 years experience in lieu of degree. REQUIRED SKILLS: POJO and J2EE component development as well as EJB, Servlets, JSP Java frameworks. JSP Java frameworks: preferred ones are Struts, Tapestry, JSF, Spring. Knowledge of ORM tools such as Hibernate or iBatis. Java-based development and configuration management: preferred ones are Eclipse; JDeveloper, Ant, JUnit, Rational, Subversion. Operating systems: Linux. Working knowledge of industry standard development practices and concepts: preferred ones are SOA, UML, MVC. Development experience in Oracle. Must be experienced at integrating COTS and custom solution components. Experience working in an Agile development environment. DESIRED SKILLS: Experience implementing BPM and ESB products. Experience with Portal products. Experience with Document Management products.
