This individual should have a minimum of six years of experience in the analysis, design, and development of real-time (High Performance) financial services software applications using Core Java. This should include at least 3 years hands-on experience with feed driven Market Data. Reuters RMDS experience a must. In addition, this individual must be fluent in *Core Java, TCL/TK shell scripting in a Unix and/or Linux environment*. The candidate should also have experience with relational databases (SQL). J2EE and messaging (JMS/ Tibco RV) also a big plus. They must have a working knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts and have participated in enterprise-scale implementations. Candidate must have five to ten years of experience in software development working in the financial services industry on the buy or the sell side. Experience building UI applications using TCL/TK on the UNIX platform is a big plus. Additionally, C/C++ background is favorable. Candidate must also be able to interact with business users and respond to queries from the business accurately and timely. *Skills required:* · Strong JAVA is a must. · Relational databases (Sybase/SQL Server).
