Title: QTP Position (Local Candidates only) Location: Richmond, VA Duration: 6 Months + Visa: Citizen/GC/EAD Responsibilities: * Primary responsibilities are to automate QTP functionality for leading financial services company, and for other Automation/Optimization opportunities. * Data Loading - load test data into a target data repository by extracting data from data sources or creating the test data. * Data Scrubbing - prior to loading test data into pre-production environments use data transformation tools to anonymize production data (strategic data, customer personal data, and Capital One Associate personal data). * Data Conditioning - to enable Capital One testing organizations to use predefined database records, perform ongoing modifications of existing data in pre-production environments. Professional & Technical Credentials & Education: QTP 10 Automation Experience, software testing certification, Automation certification, WinRunner, Quality Center, LoadRunner, Project Management, Windows, Unix, MS Office, Relational Database Knowledge, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Visual Basic scripts, SQL scripts, UNIX shell scripts. Skills General Skills * Ensure on-time and accurate delivery of QTP Automation scripts for defined project groups * Ensure on-time and accurate delivery of Test Data Requests. * Provide quality-driven TDM data conditioning and scrubbing services. * Provide excellent written and oral Communication, planning and organization. * Provide translation of business requirements into technical solutions. * Strictly adhere to standards regarding handling of confidential and sensitive data. * Validate the quality of test data conditioning results and take action to resolve discrepancies.
