Job Title: SharePoint Developer Location: New Orleans, LA Duration: 1 Year Job Description: SharePoint Developer needed for a year long project- Consultant can working remotely on moss maintenance but would need to go to New Orleans maybe 2 days monthly. Travel is covered by the client. Candidate does not need to be an architect. They need 4 plus years development experience. This came from the person who did the job before, he is unavailable to come back .. The main work at Shell that I handled was SharePoint based, the entire system is pretty complex with a lot of moving parts but SharePoint is mainly as the end user's UI and is abstract from much of the business logic. The main component in SharePoint is a pair of workflows, one that populate SharePoint list items automatically from various web services and another workflow that drives user tasks and business logic. Most of the time I spend working on optimizing and creating new SP web parts, optimizing page load times and creating and maintaining flash reports.
