*Title: * ETL Specialist (4 positions)

*Rate Range:* $40/hr corp to corp

form with each candidate submitted. Candidates will not be submitted
without it.*
*Feedback from Hiring Manager: *Two Ab Initio Level II needs. They
are in a DB2 environment and not TeraData so TeraData
is not a requirement on this (but if they have it they
will take them). DB2 is *very* nice to have
but if they do not have that and can show competence in SQL and/or
Oracle then they are willing to
train them up on DB2.
*Role: *
Perform as ETL designer and developer on software development projects with
responsibility for delivery and supporting software components. Participate
in design decisions, detail technical design and implementation of
application systems. Work with business analysts, development teams, and
testing teams to implement enhancements or new applications. Ensures coding,
unit testing and documents are aligned with the desired results.
*Responsibilities: *
- Prepare High Level Design for ETL Applications as per business
requirements
- Responsible for detailed technical design and development of
applications
- Develop, Unit test and deploy ETL applications utilizing standard
procedures and techniques
- Provide support to QA teams and provide post production support and
resolve system/production defects
- Ensures project delivery timelines, quality and alignment of the
deliverables to system requirements and enterprise standards
- Ensures application design is architecturally aligned
- Reviews the deliverables with Tech Lead – code and documentation - for
its correctness and standards
- Provides clear concise communication to project team and mid-level
managers
*Required experience: *
- 3-5 years Ab Initio design/development
- 3-5 years Unix environment
- 3-5 years Teradata/DB2/Oracle/SQL
- 1-3 years financial domain experience
- Good communication skills
*Preferred experience: *
- Capital One Experience
- DDE platform experience
- Agile delivery methodology experience
- Knowledge of Data Modelling concepts
- Large volume ETL applications experience
- Control-M scheduler experience
