*Location: San Jose, CA* *Duration: 3 month and go longer * *Title: WiFi QA Engineer* *Job Description*: WiFi QA Engineer will be responsible for testing 802.11 a/b/g/n for 2Wire Gateways. Candidate will work closely with software development, hardware team and product management to create and execute test plans, analyze results and generate problem reports. Testing responsibility includes running WiFi Certification tests for *802.11 a/b/g/n, WPA/WPA2, WMM and WPS*and to represent 2Wire at WiFi testing house. Candidate will be expected to work with internal and external customers reproducing customer reported problems, provide problem analysis and evaluate possible solutions or workarounds. Manage and maintain test beds, develop and execute automation scripts in *Perl/Python*. Perform a full cycle of WiFi test: functional, range/reach vs rate, interoperability, stress and performance testing. Troubleshoot and debug issues using wireless sniffers like *AiroPeek/Ethereal*. Test security protocols like *802.1X, AES/TKIP*.
