*Location: San Jose, CA* *Duration: 3 month and go longer * * * *Sr Voice QA Engineer* *Job Description & Responsibilities:* Sr Voice QA Engineer will be responsible for testing *VoIP, SIP, SDP, RTP, RTCP, DTMF, FXS & Voice Quality* for a residential home gateway. Candidate will work closely with software development, hardware team and product management to create and execute test plans, analyze results and generate problem reports. Candidate will be expected to work with internal and external customers reproducing customer reported problems, provide problem analysis and evaluate possible solutions or workarounds. Manage and maintain test beds, develop and execute automation scripts in *Perl/Python*. Perform a full cycle of voice test: functional, system, interoperability, stress and performance testing. Troubleshoot and debug issues. Candidate may be fully involved in product acceptance phases including Alpha and Beta testing.
