DIRECT CLIENT REQUIREMENT
11 month contract in Memphis. Must have EXCELLENT Swing experience. Must
be an expert coder. Please send skills matrix with all listed required
skills from the job description with resume. I need total years of
experience and skill level 1-10, 10 being the highest.
1. Technical Skills (listed in order of priority)
* Strong Java skills - JDK 1.5 or higher
* Object-oriented design
* Strong JAVA Swing knowledge
* Strong knowledge and experience of working in a multithreaded swing
project.
* XML, XSLT, XPath, SOAP
* SQL and knowledge of RDBMS databases (ex. oracle,Sybase,db2)
* Eclipse IDE
* Eclipse RCP experience.
* Subclipse
2. Work Products
The scope of this engagement includes developing of a distributed thick
client using Swing and Eclipse RCP technology. They will need to have good
knowledge of working with JAVA threads and various helper classes for swing.
They will develop the various screens and the process flow logic for the
screens. They will also be responsible for extracting information from the
various backend systems (Mainframe, web-services & Database) and populate
the information on the screen.
3. Daily Activities
* Design, develop and test the Client using Eclipse RCP and Java
Swing using JDK1.6
* Design and develop the various interfaces for accessing the backend
services and databases.
* Design and develop test interfaces to test the client.
* Provide defect and production support for the developed code in all
the test levels.
