Duration : 12 Months Skills: Applications, Automated, Configuration Management, Developer, Development, Engineer, Java, Management, Release, Scripts, SDLC, Software, Source Code, System, Systems, Version Control Responsibilities The Software Configuration Build Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining ING DIRECT's Software Version Control systems and Build Management system. He/She is responsible to maintain the integrity of the source control system and perform software builds and deploys in different stages of SDLC. * Tools and Administration -Administration of AntHillPro, Maven and Subversion -Performing maintenance and upgrades of the tools -Identify and implement integrations with other Development tools such as VersionOne etc * Build & Release -Create and manage build scripts for JAVA and .NET applications -Improvise and optimize software builds -Create and manage deployment scripts for highly automated deployments -Manage build dependencies in AntHillPro -Train end users * Configuration Management -Manage branching and labelling strategy in Subversion and VSS -Provide direction to development on source code management for agile development -Actively participate in release coordination and communication to stakeholders -Create and Maintain Configuration Management Plan -Train end users * Continuous Improvement: -Implement tactical improvements for Configuration Management and Build and release tools and processes -Develop the expertise within the team Qualifications The Software Configuration Build Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining ING DIRECT's Software Version Control systems and Build Management system.
