We currently have a Postgre SQL DBA position available in Downers Grove, IL. Operates on a number of different database servers - Oracle, DB2, SQL, etc. ~ 6000 databases in their 50+ locations. Majority of in-house work is administration. Candidates need solid clustered server experience, as well as solid experience with disaster recovery, replication, upgrades, and customer facing applications. Assignment will most likely for the rest of the year and likely into next year - at least 6 months + · DBA resource with at least 5 years experience in DBA role. · Experience with enterprise DBs like Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2. · Experience with mySQL a plus · At least 12 months experience with PostgreSQL.
