Position: Oracle DBA Consultant Location: Dallas, TX Duration: 6 Months with possibility of Extension Rate: Best $/Hr All Inclusive Start Date: ASAP Positions: One Skill/Experience requirements; Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle 9i / 10g and MS SQL databases on UNIX and NT servers Apply patches and upgrades for Oracle Database refresh, re-org, Backup using RMAN and 3rd Party Tools. Provides troubleshooting support for potential data issues. Analyzes the issue to determine the root cause and develop solutions or escalate to the appropriate team/stakeholders. Backup/restore Install Oracle Client software and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Datagaurd, Statspack, TK Prof Database and Application tuning and performance monitoring. RAC – Oracle 9i or 10 G Supporting application team Handling Oracle databases as a DBA on Unix/NT environments Monitoring user connections/performance Schema/Database level refresh Experience in Standby Database Experience in RMAN backup Experience in Migration/Upgrades/Patch implementation in databases Kindly go through the position details and let me know if you have any consultants matching the skill set or would really appreciate if you can refer me someone with this skill set.
