** * * *Need Local Bay Area candidates and with 10 yrs minimum experience. * *System Level Test Engineer* *Duration: 6+ months* * * Category: QA/Test *Description: * The System Level Test Engineer will be responsible for system level and solutions testing of a voice, video, and data product. The selected individual will work with software/hardware development teams and product marketing and will be responsible for system level testing of product functionality verification and problem resolution. Develop test strategies, test plans, and test networks and test topologies to verify standards compatibility, functionality, interoperability, performance , regression, and systems-level readiness. Evaluate/develop new test tools and automated test cases for existing and next generation products and technologies. * Systems Level testing * Solutions testing * Test tools development to meet the future business requirements on video, voice and data communication product. * Improving the quality of test bed and scripts. * Researching and developing tools for testing automation, improving tools architecture and test process to realize daily building test. * Interact with marketing and Development engineers to understand market/customer/product requirement. *Requirements: * * 5+ years of systems level testing experience * 3-5 + of years of Tcl (Tcl/Tk), development and/or automation scripting for testing * 3 + of years of voice and video experience preferred * Voice and Video systems level, solution test background and testbed setup experience * 5 + of years of stress, scalability and performance experience * Experience in testing new products in networking, specifically those with video, voice and data capabilities * Strong in analyzing customer/solution experience * Good understanding of L2/L3 switching, Ethernet, Bridging/Spanning Tree, Rapid Spanning Tree (RSTP) 802.1w VLANs, QoS, Rate-Limiting preferred * Good understanding of RIP, OSPF, BGP, IS-IS * Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills * Unix/Linux and Windows experience * Experienced user of IXIA or Spirent test tools * Experience with 3rd party traffic generation tools for simulation of test environments * Strong networking knowledge, TCP/IP, routing protocols, WAN protocols * Experienced Microsoft AD and/or Exchange preferred. * Test plan and security experience highly preferred. *Thanks and Regards,* * * *Maria Agnes** * Sales/Account Executive *Integrated Technology Strategies Inc;* Phone: 856-479-7016 Fax: 856-494-1333 Email: [email protected] Website: www.itstrategiesinc.com Yahoo: [email protected]; Gtalk: [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "KNOW.IT" group.
