*Long Term Contract* *JOB DESCRIPTION - EDI Specialist * Support EDI testing for the migration from version 4010 to 5010, including operational support for a dual use period. Ensure the quality, integrity, and timeliness of the company’s EDI transaction data & processes and provide timely resolution of issues during the testing and dual use (operational) phases of the project. Create/Maintain partner maps in GIS mapping tool Develop and maintain high degree of competence in the business cycle to comprehend and support both 4010 and 5010 transactions Monitor and support EDI testing efforts – Develop & publish metrics on EDI testing progress Resolve EDI related issues Contribute to EDI testing strategy SKILL LEVEL GUIDELINES Performs work requiring a limited degree of innovation, usually in collaboration with other professionals to address new or improved methods, products, systems, or services. Strong analytical skills Works well independently and with a team Communicate effectively with all levels of management Strong competency with reading/writing scripts for queries using Oracle database Strong competency with FTP scripting CICS programming a plus EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; with three to five years related EDI experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with the X-12 transaction set is required. Knows how to use implementation guides for both versions of X12 transactions; 4010 & 5010 Sound knowledge of mapping for compliance and translation Experience using Sybase highly desirable Understanding of Medicaid claims processing environment desirable *Thanks and Regards, * *Jaspal * 3290 E.
